Sindrome De Amor

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world;

indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead

“Sindrome de Amor” is a foundation that promotes and protects the human rights of people with down syndrome and supports their full inclusion and participation in the community. They ensure that students with down syndrome receive a free and appropriate public education through the “Ley de Inclusion” (inclusion law of Chile).

They provide early childhood stimulation for younger children and workshops for young adults to achieve inclusion in the workplace, and in other social areas.

They are a non-profit and receive funding only through donations, and also from raising funds on their own. In order to keep serving the community and to extend their help to others they need help from all of us.
